Not only are we featured on the Android Market but we are now one of six apps featured in the marketing campaign that Google is running for their latest creation, the Nexus One android phone.
You can see it live here, together with other great apps from Amazon, E! Online and more.
Issuu Mobile is quickly becoming the most downloaded app on Android devices. Don’t miss out. Install it today!
Go to issuu.com/mobile to install it on your Android. Plus, don’t forget to rate us on the Market.
Over 50,000 people have downloaded our Android app to date!
Launched just before the holidays, Issuu Mobile is now a featured app on the Android Market. And it’s still just a beta!
Thanks to all the feedback from both industry blogs and users we are working around the clock to improve existing features and adding some new ones as well.
Join the over 50,000 users and download the app today. To get you started, here are a few tips about Issuu Mobile:
My Library on your Android handset syncs with My Library on the web. This means you can take your uploaded publications and bookmarks with you on the go.
You can upload your own private publications and only you will be able to access them in My Library on the phone.
EasyRead will find entire articles for you. Look for a small icon at the bottom of the first page of a publication.
*Note to HTC Tattoo users: Due to your device’s lower screen resolution you can’t find Issuu Mobile on the Android Market. Google detects that you are using an unsupported device and hides it from you.
Issuu Mobile is here! All of Issuu on the go, including millions of free magazines, books and newspapers, is now available as a free beta app on any Android-powered device.
Issuu Mobile comes with our new EasyRead technology inside. This means that you can select and enhance text for easy reading without losing the original layout of the publication.
Tis the season and The New York Times is delivering.
In case you missed it, The New York Times Style Magazine just had a redesign of their website and launched their holiday edition in partnership with Issuu. Check it out, it’s free!
Just click on Taylor Swift and the entire magazine opens up before your eyes.
And not only that but they have also created an archive of Style magazines from 2008 to 2009. Check out their spectacular covers and beautifully designed pages!
Just a few more days till our beta release of Issuu Mobile. Trust us, the few extra days are worth the wait.
We have been working with Google’s Android team to make this release even better. Good news is Google is just as excited as we are to launch Issuu Mobile. It’ll first be available on Android and an iPhone version will follow early next year.
In the meantime, please help us with the poll below…
We’ve been at LeWeb this week as a finalist for the App Star award for cool upcoming mobile apps. Sadly, we didn’t win but we were the runner-up in the Entertainment category. And even better Issuu Mobile has already been mentioned by TechCrunch, Washington Post, and many blogs.
And, mind you, this is only based on a quick n’ dirty video we put together. We can’t wait to show you the real deal! We truly believe Issuu Mobile will change the way people read magazines, newspapers, catalogs, and more on the go.
Bonjour! Issuu is in Paris for this year’s LeWeb, the biggest web event in Europe. But we’re not just going because we’re a popular web publishing platform.
We are a finalist for LeWeb’s App Star competition for upcoming mobile apps. Click on the snazzy green icon below to see the finalists.
Astrid from our team will be at the conference. She’d be happy to talk with you and demo Issuu Mobile, so here’s her Twitter account. Or just go up to her and say hi!
Even before we launched Issuu we knew that mobile one day would be the perfect platform for digital publications.
Think about it. We always bring our phones wherever we go. Wouldn’t it be perfect if you could explore and read thousands, or even millions, of publications in the park, on the train, or during a flight?
But one obvious problem stands in the way. Namely the reading part. How can you cram a beautiful magazine onto a 3-inch screen and still be able to read it without losing the original layout of the magazine? It’s impossible!
Or is it? At least 34% of you believe we can do the impossible. Stay tuned.
