We’d love to see both the Apple iTablet and mobile apps
It obviously can not be the iTablet… announcing it without the consent of Apple would simply means a huge legal fight with Apple lawyers… And Apple would never let any of its partner announce anything new until they eventually do it themselves first.
I would much prefer an Issue version for the Microsoft Courier. Why vote for a product that hasn’t even been announced? Sheer Mac fanboyism.
While I’m an apple fan… I’d doubt you could get a “winter” launch on something that based on some web reports will be delayed itself.
More like a spring launch…. iPhone and Android devices will already have coverage so to speak. With an iTablet you’d also be depending on several EARLY ADOPTERS purchasing the thing right away?
We’ll see!
It will be awesome!!!
Of course there’s also today’s rumor-news that Apple’s tablet release is delayed.
Anything but Apple. Please?
My second choice was the ANDROID option.
Wow….Good News and Greatest Gadget
Seriously? They won’t call it the iTablet obviously. Also, that’s the best mockup you’ve seen? It’s literally a photo of an iphone with the left and right edges pushed out and the space between the outside 1/3 inch and the center 1/2 inch stretched. I did the same thing with this photo from the iphone page on apple.com in like 1 minute just for this post to show you! Silly. http://i48.tinypic.com/30tq4j9.jpg
Would be great if you launch Arabic version player, Left to right which will bring in more users from Middle East and Africa. After all Arabic is third highest spoken language in the world, so you should get this done before your above plan.
Developing apps for the already existing devices will be much more versitile than developing for a device that no one owns yet. I was under the impression that the apple tablet will run on a similar OS to the iPhone but I really don’t know.
I believe all are viable however for the slickest tablet design and the future I believe apple will have the most complete tablet, computers & distribution network. One thing though we need to finally loose the fake shadowing. We need to loose the fake page flips. If we are designing for a screen we do not want our designs to be alters…
1. How can you plan to create something for a device that was neither released, nor confirmed?
2. I would very much prefer a good desktop application for the existing Tablet PCs with a multi-touch optimized interface. I have a Dell Latitude XT which I love, but a multi-touch e-book reader is something I really miss. The recently released Kindle Desktop is fairly good and definitely multi-touch oriented but it’s (at this moment) still a very unbaked product with a weak feature set.
Wow!!! será excelente contar con el auspicio de ISSU para el flamante iTablet de Apple
ha ha, funny and intriguing
I think people are voting towards the itablet as people are excited to see that product from Apple, which would definitely help generate traffic to ISSUU if they were the launch partner. But even if they are not, we will still be able to use ISSUU on an itablet if it is ever created, so I think it would be much more useful to have an ISSUU application on the go in the palm of your hands on your iphone, i’d like to see that.
lssuu news launch is such an exciting message to hear well congradulation guyz
