We love it! Keep up the great work.
Awesome!
Is there anyway to change the order of the publications on the shelf. Can’t seem to figure that one out.
very very good but i try on wordpress and its doesnt work
please help
Currently you can only control the order by adding publications in the order you want them to appear.
It works on selfhosted Wordpress blogs (insert in HTML editor). Wordpress.com blogs will most likely experience problems as WP is know to block widgets like the Shelf. I’m afraid there’s nothing we can do on our end to change that.
When the folder is embedded into the site, if you click it takes you to the viewer in the Issuu site. Is there a way to just open in a small window or stay on my own site?
can you please produce a guide for locating in selfhosted wordpress blogs, as i’m not getting it to work.
My files are set to private, and when I put them in a folder, they will not show up on shelf. Is there a way to create a shelf for files set to private. Also, these are set to private because they are behind a password on website.
Ace product! - is there a way to mod it so when you click on a publication thumbnail it links through to an embed on your own site?
I LOVE LOVE this!
My only ‘issue’ is that I want as a Pro User to control how the magazines look when they click on a mag from the shelf.
JUst like I do when customizing and embedding to our readers. When they hit the link or little magazine, it opens with the Styling I have given it as well as NOT having other mags from other users in the sidebar.
Am I missing something, and this CAN be done?
If not… will make a huge difference. I will not use it until then.
Thanks!
WoW!!! i love it
I’m happy, that you guys listened to your customers and implemented this new feature!
Thanks!!
Just one thing, is there a way to open the issuu puplication viewer from the shelf (as we can do already with layout=…) i can only see the link to standard issuu page available at the moment.
Sounds very sweet!
Finally it has arrived !!! I posted about it about a year back. It has been implemented exactly as I thought it would be.
One more feature I’d like to have in it…..automatically scrolling books with speed control in case the books exceed the number that can be accommodated in the shelves or showing “appearing” books as it is displayed in the Issuu home page.
Thanks a lot for this feature.
Is there a limit to the number of publications that can be added to a shelf? I created a new shelf/folder and added 51 publications. I think if I add more, then those are added but the existing ones at the end are not displayed..i.e. if I add a new one, one goes out from the end of the shelf.
A few tips regarding the current version of Shelf:
* The Shelf will show a max of 50 public publications
* Private publications can’t be shown
* Shelf can currently only open publications on Issuu in the default styling
* The Shelf has been tested to work on selfhosted WP blogs. Ask WP to support Issuu for hosted blogs.
* Shelf has been tested on all major browsers
* You cannot change the order of the publications in the Shelf
Thanks for your feedback, we will put all your insights into later versions of the Shelf :)
I tried it and it published the “preview” books rather than my own.
Love love LOVE it! But as some others have said, it’d be really nice to be able to control the order of publications on the shelf.
There needs to be a way to rearrange your shelf. Thats the only thing that is keeping me form using it.
