You Can Now Share And Embed Directly From Issuu Widgets

It’s now much easier to embed or share a great Issuu publication that you see embedded somewhere. Here’s an example with our latest press release about Issuu Pro:

(Email and RSS subscribers, please click through to see this on our blog).

Notice the Menu button when you hover your mouse over the embed widget. Click it to instantly get the link or embed code. You can even browse related publications and search for something else without leaving this page. Just click Back to turn the menu off.

This should be a big help for bloggers and anyone else who sees a great publication embedded somewhere and wants to share it or embed it on their own site. And remember: The more embeds you get, the more exposure your publications will get!

The Menu button will only be visible in sizes up to 740 pixels wide. From 741 pixels wide and above the embed will have its own top menu bar with sharing options. For now the embed Menu is available for publications hosted on free Issuu accounts, but it will be optionally available for Pro members later, along with even more advanced control over embedded publications.

Like it says above, the embed Menu is only available for non-Pro accounts at the moment. We’ll introduce it as an option for Pro members later :)

    Hey guys.. cool site

I wonder if isuu will ever have creative common section? It would be great if one can mix and match article and everybody gets to be editor from creative common materials…

The possibility will be endless, specially if you can get “scientific community” to start posting their creative common material in the database. (univeristy of california has such policy on scientific paper)

    ok cheers.
