Bantam Dell of Random House has just released the full text of Lee Child’s novel ‘Persuader’ on Issuu. Lee Child is a known as “Maybe the best thriller writer in the business” (Boston Globe) and even Stephen King reads him. In 2008 Lee Child’s Reacher novels were #1 on both The New York Times hardcover and paperpack fiction lists.
‘Persuader’ is about Jack Reacher, the man The New York Times calls “one of the most enduring action heroes on the American landscape”. Now how’s that for an impressive intro?
Here’s the plot outline:
An elite ex-military cop who left the service years ago, he’s moved from place to place…without family…without possessions…without commitments. And without fear. Which is good, because trouble–big, violent, complicated trouble–finds Reacher wherever he goes. And when trouble finds him, Reacher does not quit, not once…not ever.
But some unfinished business has now found Reacher. And Reacher is a man who hates unfinished business. Ten years ago, a key investigation went sour and someone got away with murder. Now a chance encounter brings it all back. Now Reacher sees his one last shot. Some would call it vengeance. Some would call it redemption. Reacher would call it…justice.
How can you possibly not feel intrigued? Jump in right now! The full text of Persuader is embedded below. Bantam Dell is also making a big splash about it on their website here and here. The ebook is available for $ 7,99 but you’re getting it here on Issuu for free.
